Customer Connector CRM

This guide demonstrates the process of integrating Smartflo Dialer with an in-house CRM. Follow the below steps to integrate Smartflo with Custom Connector.

Step 1: Login to your Smartflo account.

Step 2: Under the Services tab, select Integrations.

Step 3: Click Enable under the Custom Connector integration to activate it.

Step 4: Click on More Details to view the integration steps.

Step 5: Click Settings tab to start the configuration.

Step 6: Click Configure under the Custom Connector Account Authorization.

Step 7: Enter the Integration Name and select the Authentication Method.

Now, there are two Authentication methods that you can choose from:

  • API KEY
  • OAuth

a. If you choose API Key as your authentication option, adhere to the instructions listed below.

i. Select API KEY as the authentication method from the drop-down.

ii. Enter Validation URL, API KEY and click on Authorize.

Note: You can retrieve these credentials under the Settings/Configuration page of the CRM.

iii. The integration of Connector CRM Authorization is successful.

b. If you choose OAuth as your authentication option, adhere to the instructions listed below.

i. Select OAuth as the authentication method from the drop-down.

ii. Enter the following details and click on Authorize.

  • Client ID: Unique identifier of the application.
  • Client Secret: Unique password of the application.
  • Auth Endpoint: An authorization URL where the owner of the resource authorizes the OAuth client to access the secured resource.
  • Token Endpoint: A URL for a token request where the OAuth client can trade an authorization grant for an access token.
  • Revoke Authorization Endpoint: A URL to revoke OAuth tokens granted to clients.
  • Scope (Optional): This defines the operations an API can perform on the data.

Note: These credentials can be obtained by the client using the API Console.

iii. Enter your credentials and click on Sign in to complete the integration.

iv. The integration of Custom Dialer Connector is successful.

Step 8: Click Configure under the Dialer Campaign Configurations to configure the Connector CRM Campaign.

Step 9: Select the desired campaign from the drop-down menu and then click on Configure Call Hangup Event.

Note: When choosing a dialer campaign, keep the following points in mind. Otherwise, you may encounter errors.

i. Dialer campaign should not contain multiple lead lists.

ii. Dialer campaign should be configured with the same lead list for outbound, manual, and inbound calls.

iii. Dialer campaign should have its Agent Wise Lead List feature disabled.

Step 10: Enter the API URL and click on Configure.

Step 11: Click on Save.

Step 12: Click on Configure under the Call Event Configuration to set the API for the campaign selected in Step 9.

Step 13: Select the same campaign from the drop-down menu.

Step 14: Click on the event you want to push data into the CRM for.

Step 15: Enter the API URL and click on Configure.

Step 16: Scroll down to the end of the page and click on Configure API.

The data of the selected event will now automatically be uploaded into the APIs whenever the dialer is accessed in the CRM.
